I have an English major and a Biology minor. I can help you learn a diverse range of subject matters in a creative way. I volunteered overseas to teach 7-12th grade English in Yap Micronesia. I love teaching English as a second language. Writing is my expertise and I love to teaching thinking through writing. I love teaching the joys of reading and writing. I especially love working with preteens and teens getting them ready for the SATS. I had a student win a island wide essay competition when I was in Yap. I'm currently getting my masters in education and looking to apply what I'm learning to my student's education. I'm currently studying phonics, creative writing strategies, and reading as a lifetime goal for students.
