About Haley

I have been working with children since I was 15 years old. I received my start at Elite Feet Dance Studio, where I was employed as a dance teacher for the ages of two up to 12 years old. After moving to Radford, VA, I continued to teach tap classes at a local studio for young pre-teens. I also began an internship with Beans and Rice Inc. B&R is an after-school program for at-risk, elementary aged students. These children come from low income families, and are provided tutoring services as well as weekly food bags to ensure they receive the attention they need. During the summer of 2016, I worked as the Performing Arts Instructor for the W. E. Skelton 4H center. There I Lead, along-side 18 other college aged students, large groups of 9-13-year-old campers through 9 different weeks of 4-H camp. I taught the performing arts class during the day, which required me to teach children how to step out of their comfort zone and take the stage with full confidence.
