My name is Haley, I have been working and gaining experience in childcare since the age of 15, as a date night, after school sitter, and nanny and have one year experience working in Montessori classrooms as a teacher's assistant with infants, toddlers, and primary aged children. My approach to childcare in school settings as well as home settings is to follow the parents' lead. I also draw strength from the Montessori approach as I have found it very successful when working with children of all ages. The Montessori approach is a beautiful and grounded philosophy and its goals are: respect of the child, fostering creativity, security, as well as guiding children towards their own independence.
