About Gretchen

Hello! I have been working with children for 15+ years in school, home, and clinic settings. My passion is to help students build confidence in academia through encouragement, organization, patience, and repetition. I have a background in behavior and occupational therapy, and utilize many of theses strategies in my tutoring process. Currently I am seeking my Academic Language Therapy certification, specializing in reading intervention for dyslexia. The subjects in which I excel at are: general education, homework organization/management, and special needs education. A little bit about me: In my free time you can find me doing puzzles, crafting, or going to escape rooms. I also enjoy hiking, dancing, and spending time with friends/family.
