I'd describe my personality as calming, friendly, and adaptable. I like tutoring because I love helping children find their "a-ha" moment! Contributing to their growth and confidence in recognizing their capabilities. I'm looking for a job that is rewarding in the sense of playing a part in a child's growth. I started tutoring when I worked at a K-8 school in 2018 as an AVID tutor. In my spare time, I like to watch documentaries and participate in various outdoor physical activities. I have much experience in working with children of various learning capabilities. I have worked in a school environment and clinic-based. My skills include breaking down problems into smaller steps to find specific struggles the student is having. My patience and calming demeanor provide a comfortable learning environment to make mistakes and not feel defeated.
