About Jovana

I have 1 year of experience working as a substitute teacher with the Ysleta Independent School District in El Paso teaching kindergarten through high school. I then served as a Peace Corps volunteer from August 2018-June 2019 teaching chemistry and biology to freshmen-senior high school students in Ghana. Science and math are my strong suite since I majored in Biomedical Concentration at UTEP and took plenty of math and science courses including pre-calculus, calculus I, statistics I and II, physics I and II, general biology, anatomy and physiology, genetics, microbiology, general chemistry I and II, organic chemistry I and II, and biochemistry. I am confident I will be an excellent English tutor as well, as I took English courses as part of my basics and wrote plenty of lab reports for all of my science courses. (I also have 1. 5 years of nannying experience with a 1-2-year-old toddler.) I look forward to tutoring your child(ren), and teaching them the power and value of learning!
