About Grace

Hello! My name is Grace and I am a full time elementary and middle school history teacher in Charleston, SC. I graduated cum laude from the College of Charleston in 2021 and graduated with a masters degree in elementary education in 2023. I love teaching because it allows me to share my love of learning and engage my students with material in new and exciting ways. I know what it's like to not always understand the content being taught in a class, and that makes me the perfect person to teach and tutor. I am skilled in developing differentiated methods for students to solve problems and master the material rather than memorize it for a test. English and history are my specialties and I am also able to help with college essays. I am SC certified to teach all elementary subjects and high school social studies. I am very flexible in the summer months and am able to work either online or in person. I look forward to working with your family and your student!
