About Gabriela

Hello! My is Gabriela and I am a recent post-graduate in Peace and Development. For the past year and a half, I've had the privilege of directing an after-school program at The Salvation Army, where I led a dynamic team serving many students. In this role, I provided personalized tutoring sessions, fostered STEM and motor skill development, and facilitated leadership-building workshops, nurturing young minds to reach their full potential. In addition to my work with children, I've also provided loving care to my elderly father, who battled dementia. This experience taught me invaluable lessons in patience, empathy, and the importance of compassionate caregiving. Furthermore, as a pet owner myself, I understand the unique bond between humans and their furry companions. Whether it's caring for my own cats or my cousin's dogs, I approach each interaction with warmth, responsibility, and a genuine love.
