Hello. My name is Sharquita. I'm from Indianapolis, IN and studied at Indiana University. All through high school and college, I was taking care of children and involved in children groups like Boys and Girls Club and Children's Bureau of Indianapolis. I've always loved being around children and it has been one of my main jobs since moving to California 4 years ago. I've been babysitting professionally for a company that caters to "high end" clients so I recognize the importance of discretion and am experienced in travel and working from hotels. I'm worked with a family of five as well as twins. I've taken acting and improv classes and love Harry Potter and try to liven things up by adding these experiences into my nanny and babysitting jobs. I've also taken baby development courses through Outside the Box and will soon be part time teacher. I'm looking for a family that will treat me as one of their own as I help their child or children grow, develop and discover the world around them

We worked with Sharquita in the weeks before we started my youngest (5months) in daycare. She was wonderful with him: playing, helping him work on tummy time, sitting up, trying new solid foods, singing songs. She was always engaging with him and they developed a great relationship. She also helped out a bit with my toddler when he got home from daycare and would assist with the kids' laundry and dishes when the baby was napping. We plan to continue to use Sharquita for babysitting.
