About Flor

I'd describe my personality as trustworthy, compassionate, enthusiastic and dedicated. I like caring for seniors because I think when we age, we can become isolated, and I like to try to decrease that isolation by providing supportive care. My experience began as a preteen helping Mom take care of granny, years later I took care of my father-in-law, both experiences were challenging but heartfelt, in 1998 I got trained as a caregiver in Spain, and fell in love with the work. I also like to spend time with my daughters, play with my cats and dance. I'm looking for a job where I can cultivate a bond with an individual and/or family who is in need of quality care, I really love what I do. My skills include helping with physical therapy tasks, helping manage self-care tasks, and keeping spirits high.
