About Kyra

I helped to care for my father with Parkinson's for the last 3 years of his life. We exercised together, talked a lot, and read over 200 books together. I am a teacher (for children) but I have a special love for elderly people. I'd describe my personality as sincere, encouraging, positive, and fun. I like caring for seniors because I feel it is one of my gifts. I'm looking for a job where I can spend time with elderly people who need companionship. I can also bring and share books from the library on topics of interest to them. I started caring for seniors when my father had a stroke during the pandemic. Parkinson's followed. In my spare time, I like to teach STEM and Language Arts, take walks, and read. One thing you should know about me is I am a Christian woman and a caring sister, daughter, friend, aunt, etc. I will always have a positive attitude and do my best. My skills include conversation, assisting with meals, bathroom, and being supportive in any way I can.
