About Evelyn

I love working with kids because it's such a privilege to be able to make a positive impact on their lives and help them learn and grow. Building connections with them and being a part of their journey is something truly special. I started working with kids when I was a young teenager. My mother worked with kids all my life as a teacher, so I was inspired to work with kids as well and I actually started my own babysitting gig at 13 years old babysitting my little cousins and neighbors. I also have 3 little siblings that I helped to raise since I am the eldest sister. As I became older, I started volunteering at our church taking care of the little ones in the nursery. I also have some experience tutoring older kids with math and reading.
