About Evelyn

Hello families! My name is Evelyn, and I enjoy being a babysitter because it allows me to create a positive and fun environment for children while providing peace of mind to parents. I truly have a way with kids, and see the importance of making childhood memories enjoyable. I am currently employed as a middle-school teacher looking for part-time work. I have experience with children of all ages. I spent multiple summers working as a camp counselor for a YMCA summer camp. During the school year I teach middle school at a preparatory school for kids with Autism and ADHD. I also have experience teaching the 4th grade at a charter school. I have worked with younger children at an after school program for two years as well. I have many skills in tutoring all subjects (elementary, middle and high school) as well as finding fun activities that your child will enjoy. I am great at building rapport quickly and have a calming energy that allows kids to feel comfortable around me.
