About Benjamin

I am an artist and educator who just moved to New York recently, but I spent the last 3 years working as a lead counselor at an after school program. My roles there included communication and coordination with all of the counselors, picking up and waking large groups of children from school, monitoring them as they work on homework and engage in activities, and teaching martial arts classes (as well as yoga, qigong and art classes), I also ran the Martial arts summer camp over the summer. All that is to say I am competent and comfortable in teaching, interacting, and supervising children of all ages and in different circumstances. I also genuinely enjoy working with kids! I am starting a job at a new summer camp in Brooklyn in June and am looking for steady jobs to hold me over until then, and after that my available hours will change but I will still be open to side jobs.
