About Eve

I'd describe my personality as caring, patient, supportive. I like tutoring because I am good at finding ways to explain confusing topics and turn learning into a fun and enjoyable experience. I love children and helping them feel confident in themselves!!! My extensive experience gives me a foundation for determining where a students "edge" is. I'm looking for a job that lets me use my experience and creativity to help students. I started tutoring when I was younger and teaching at an elementary school in Massachusetts. I had a job as a Math Specialist, so many parents asked me to work with their children after school! In my spare time, I like to ride my bike, walk my dogs, cook, do yoga and play tennis! I also enjoy reading and am writing a children's book about numbers! One thing you should know about me is I can be silly and not take life too seriously! I think that's why children like me so much!! My skills include assessing, addressing and explaining.
