About Patricia

I am a kind, patient, and experienced tutor looking to work with a family for this school year. I have worked as a tutor in a variety of settings: with individual families, in an after-school educational program, and at a school for children on the autism spectrum. I love working with kids in elementary and middle school, and I would also be willing to work with high school students if it felt like a good fit. As a tutor, it is important to me that the kids I work with feel encouraged and supported as they do their work. I am well-versed across subject matter, and I especially love to help with writing, math, and organizational skills. I also can help with learning basic Spanish and Italian. I am a furniture maker/artist by trade, and I bring a creative approach when I am working with kids. I would also be happy to design and bring in art projects if you are looking for supplemental projects to online learning. I am taking COVID-19 precautions seriously.
