About Ethan

I started tutoring when I was pursuing my undergraduate degree and wanted to help my classmates who were struggling. After getting a lot of satisfaction, I joined a tutoring office through the school and helped other students on a range of STEM subjects. In my spare time, I like to paint and build software tools that I can share with others. You'll often find me in an excel spreadsheet or staring at lines of code when I'm not with my son. One thing you should know about me is that I am a very positive reinforcement style teacher. I like working through problems with my students to make sure they have a complete mastery of the problem before we move on to the next one. When one of my students is struggling with a concept or problem, I don't just immediately tell them the answer I engage them and get them to think about solutions.
