About Shelby

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, creative, and kind. I like tutoring because I love learning and teaching others new things. Seeing the lightbulb click on is one thing that shows me that I'm doing something right. I'm a lifelong learner and I really enjoy helping others learn to the best of their abilities. I'm looking for a job that helps others and is flexible. I work and go to school full time so I'm wanting to tutor for extra money. I started tutoring during COVID when my high school junior brother in law needed help because he wasn't the greatest with online school. We worked through the entire school year together and into the next year here and there. My skills include checking understanding repeatedly, teaching in various ways, and working through problems together.
