About Esme

I'm originally from San Francisco, CA, and I have a strong academic background. In high school, I was a Valedictorian, achieved a 34 on my ACT and 5s and 4s on my AP exams, and ended up attending UC Berkeley, which I graduated from in 2020. After college, I worked to become TEFL-certified, which taught me different teaching methods and reinforced my knowledge of grammar. I also worked to reinforce my skills in several different languages, including German, Spanish, and French. I'm interested in tutoring because the idea of peaking a young child's interest in learning is exciting to me. I think the greatest gift in life is to be a lifelong learner - because then the world is endlessly exciting, large, and fascinating. I also know that I can help your child. I'm kind, caring, sweet, fun, and responsible. I work well with children (and actually have previously worked as both a nanny and a reading tutor), and I want to help them feel strong, confident, and full within themselves.
