About Erika

I am a mother of two grown young men who has worked as an administrator majority of my life but I started caregiving through my own experience when my dear grandmother had a stroke and needed in home care 24hours a day. At the time I wasn't fully employed so I registered with ihss and cared for her full time. Then I went on and registered with other agencies and got clients of my own to care for. My last client was a veteran with dementia and I assisted his wife in caring for him full time at their home. That was in 2021. Now I'm looking for preferably a full time position but will take partime as well. I've done light housekeeping, meal preparations, cared for pets, ran errands, took clients to doctor appointments and on personal activities entertainment that clients like to do (church, walks in park, movies, shows.) I do have an active license and vehicle of my own. I've had clients with wheelchairs as well. I am bilingual in Spanish as well.
