About Erica

I'd describe my personality as encouraging, creative, and loyal. I like tutoring because it feels good to learn through teaching. I am passionate about making cultural, real-world connections with students. I'm looking for a job that educates young minds via multiple subjects or adults learning ESL. My specialty is Visual Art and am happy to help with any general education. I started tutoring when 20 plus years ago. In my spare time, I like to be in nature, go hiking, create art, especially toe painting, and eat at local restaurants. One thing you should know about me is I love creating art with children! My skills include explaining coursework with additional methods and techniques when it fits the subject. I am able to apply sentence frames for writing and creative visuals learned in my art and K-6 credential programs.
