I'd describe my personality as kind, compassionate, loving. I like tutoring because it gives me the chance to connect over a subject that I love. I'm looking for a job that gives me creativity and connection. I would like to be able to take field trips/ travel, and spend time outside in nature. Of course I would like to pursue my passion for reading and writing as well. I started tutoring when I was 14. In my spare time, I like to practice yoga, garden, be in nature and work on arts and crafts. One thing you should know about me is I am a mother myself with over 20 years experience in the field of education. I have a Bachelor of Arts from UCSD and a Masters in Reading from SDSU. My top three skills include social-emotional awareness, metacognitive strategies and literacy intervention.
