I offer most of the time as a companionship service where I perform wellness check and light duty care, assist in bathing, meal preparation, cooking, light housekeeping, laundry, medication and some errands. making sure the loved ones needing care can fully function and are happy and secure in their home. By becoming a caregiver, I have been able to serve and continue my service by helping others who are in need. We ask three important questions of all caregivers .. what's your background and are you aware it's total care? do you have the latest vaccinations given the patient is immuno compromised and current CPR / First Aid is needed due to upper respiratory concerns. The candidate didn't want to answer those questions and felt it wasn't a right fit. Be sure to make sure you are getting qualified candidates as our ad posted explicit details on total care, compromised special needs ... a lot of these people are looking for personal care but I truly would be cautious to even allow this person in your home just based on his responses.
