About Emma

Hi! My name is Emma, and I am currently a student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, studying Animal Sciences! I have always had a passion for working with kids, and am thrilled to bring over 5 years of experience to the table! I began working as a summer camp counselor and a babysitter for kids from ages 3-13, and have also been working as an in-school tutor for kindergarten through 5th grade students, assisting with curriculum reading and math skills for 2 years! I am fluent in English and partially fluent in Spanish, and am very willing to communicate about the child's day, based on the parent's preferred communication method. I love playing outdoor sports, games, and puzzles that are engaging and promote learning! I, myself, am a very compassionate and empathetic individual and strive to embody those qualities with every child I work with! With my CPR and First Aid training and certification, I can assure you that your child is in safe hands!
