Hello, parents! I have over nine months of experience working with children ages 5 to 11 at the Academy of Arts and Knowledge (AAK) elementary school. I am currently studying Human Development and Family Studies at CSU. I loved how AAK incorporated positivity and creativity into interacting with children. AAK made me realize how much I love being around kids. I learned how to keep them safe, how to encourage an optimistic attitude, and how to interact with them so they are more inclined to listen to me. AAK taught me the importance of listening to children. Validating how children feel is very important to make them feel heard and cared for. I am looking for babysitting or nanny jobs because I am passionate about working with children and being an encouraging figure in their lives.
