About Emily

I am a mother of two children, who are my life. Over the years, I have gained experience working w/ children from birth to 10-years-old. Additionally, I had the privilege of growing up in a large family w/ the ability to spend a lot of time helping w/ my niece & nephews. I am a graduate of UW-Whitewater with a degree in Special Education. I have been working for the SPASD for almost 5 years in various positions, most recently as a Special Ed. Teacher. Other related experience includes working as a behavioral technician for Autistic children, working in a daycare, babysitting for numerous families, & long-term nannying for a family of 6 & short-term (summer) for 2 families of 4. I don't mind completing light housekeeping such as dishes, laundry, tidying children's rooms and common spaces. For activities, I love arts & crafts, baking, & playing w/ the children. If parents do allow, I love taking children on outings (park, pool, or zoo). I do have a very reliable car w/ full coverage.
