About Emily

Hello, my name is Emily. I am a mother of two amazing daughters ages 13, and 8. I have been working with children for close to 20 years ( yes I'm old) I hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, and have been teaching for 10 years. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have experience working with children on the Autism spectrum and who may have special needs. I may be 45, but I will totally throw a dance party, play outside, get dirty doing fun cooking activities, play games, and do fun arts and crafts! I love reading to children and I can tutor as well. I try and keep kids engaged and having fun and not stuck on screens! I have a clear background check by the state of GA and a clean driving record. For fun I love hiking with my dog, spending time with my daughters, traveling, and volunteering. I work as a contractor with children and families in the foster system. I am taking a break from teaching and I am excited to start working as a nanny!
