About Faith

Hi! My name is Faith and I am currently a college student at UNG. I have been babysitting for years, but I have also been a camp counselor for 3 years. I have worked with multiple age groups and have been a counselor for, up to, 13 kids at a time. This entailed bringing campers canoeing, camping, rock climbing, and teaching them life skills or just being there for them when they hit challenges. This past summer, I worked at a summer camp called Camp ASCCA. This is a summer camp in Alabama for children and adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. My job entailed transferring campers from their wheelchairs, helping in the bathroom, helping shower, help with feeding, giving campers the chance to go on the zipline, and being there for them and helping them with any needs they may have. I truly love working with kids and helping make impacts on their life! It is my personal goal to create a fun environment for them, as well as a safe one!
