I LOVE working with children. I have 2 happy and responsible teenagers (my eldest is on the way to get into medical school, the 2nd one is in Senior year) and I'm not a typical Asian Tiger mom (my kids endorsed this haha!) We are a multi-lingual family, blending 4 languages in our conversation is very common and fun. Hold a TESOL (Teaching English as Second Other Language) certification from The British Council Seoul - University of Cambridge. +14 years in Corporate and Financial Industry in Asia and Australia. 4 years in the American International School of Guangzhou as Teaching Assistant and Substitute teacher. 9 years as a tutor in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Seoul, Jakarta (Japan Cultural Center) and Irvine. I work mostly with Chinese, Japanese and Korean students (Primary and Middle school students), support them transitioning from their home country's educatuin into an English speaking environment. The parents sometimes join us to brush up their English as well.
