This is the background check we require for all caregivers.
Experience: 1 yr
COVID-19 vaccinated
My husband had Pulmonary Fibrosis and was bed-ridden the last year of his life. he was a 747 Captain employed by NWA for 35 years. So, it was an experience to watch this once larger-than-life, strapping 6'3" man lose his vitality and ultimate decay into a frail, fragile, dying man. We decided to learn everything about his hygiene-care, feeding and just keeping him company at his bedside. We became like a team. The last 3 months of my mother's life, I took turns with my brother and sister at her bedside. She had a colostomy bag and then a feeding tube. I did most of the night shifts as my brother and sister had their busy jobs and needed their rest. I was grateful I could be there for my Mom. She was a wonderful mother of five children and got to pass in peace at home. This was during the COVID lockdown making things a bit difficult to navigate at times. I am compassionate, reliable, true-blue, sharp situational-awareness skills. Capable of handling any and all needs. Thank you.
