In recent years I have worked with and formed strong bonds with my clients. A full-time position as a private caregiver to a wheel-chair bound woman was offered to me by a friend and I worked with her for 6 years. It was more than a job, it was a strong friendship. My tasks included companionship, medication management, transferring her to the car and going out most days for errands and appointments, meal preparation, light house cleaning, and personal care. I spent a year with a client who had Alzheimer's . I traveled to New Canaan 3 days a week after she and her husband moved back there. We had formed a bond that made her accept me. Due to COVID-19 I could not travel to the job any longer. Prior to that I was with another client for close to a year who also had Alzheimer's. I have been working with a client who has ALS for the last 5 years. My client's families are very willing to speak to any potential clients or their families. I love what I do and I believe it shows.

I had met Jeannette while attending the University of Connecticut. We have kept in touch throughout the years. I have always found Jeannette to be extremely organized and professional. We both worked in family-owned businesses, and I was impressed by her managerial skills and knowledge of business practices. In the past several years, Jeannette turned her career toward her passion for caring for elderly clients. She is organized and prompt, and truly cares about the dignity of her clients. As my own father started to have dementia issues, I looked to Jeannette for some guidance and recommendations for the best care for him. If we didn't live so far away, I would have certainly retained the services of Jeannette for my own father. I would highly recommend Jeannette S. to provide care for your family members that have helped others for so many years, and now need some help themselves.
