About Elizabeth

I love math. I have worked with students from 3rd grade to college level. As a former Center Director and Director of Education at Mathnasium of Middletown, I have had experience with creating individualized learning plans for hundreds of students. I have worked closely with my students, both privately and in groups, to implement these plans in order to boost not only their math skills but their confidence as well. I have instructed classes in standardized test taking and privately tutored test taking skills. I've worked at a program for gifted youngsters and as a tutor for my University's math department. It is my philosophy that learning should be fun and tailored to the learner themselves. I strive to teach my students in ways that suit them and I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve. Whether you are looking to get ahead or keep up, whether you love math or it scares you, allow me to make you just as crazy about math as I am.
