About Rachel

As an experienced tutor with a background at Purdue University and Sylvan Learning, I am committed to helping students achieve academic success. At Purdue, I provided tutoring to student athletes in physics, biochemistry, and anatomy, tailoring lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners. Additionally, I worked as a student mentor, helping students with study techniques and schedule planning. This experience sharpened my ability to guide students through challenges, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Currently at Sylvan Learning, I work with students of all ages, from elementary to high school, in subjects such as math, reading, writing, and test prep. Sylvan's approach allows me to continue to help students learn in different ways, helping them master key concepts. My goal is to provide a supportive and effective learning experience, helping students reach their academic potential and achieve long lasting success.
