About Elena

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, flexible, and patient. I enjoy tutoring because I love to help kids grow and learn. Watching them process how to do things, then seeing that moment when the light bulb finally goes off makes me smile and makes the kids feel confident in themselves. I'm looking for a job that I'm able to help kids (ages 5-14) learn in whatever capacity by also making learning a fun experience for them. One thing you should know about me is that I've been a straight A student my whole school career, and some might say I'm a nerd, but I love helping others push their minds and expand their knowledge. You might be thinking, "Is a high schooler really the best option for a tutor?" I might be biased, but I believe a high schooler is one of the best options for a tutor, as we are most familiar with how things are taught now a days & the process of studying for an upcoming quiz or test. My skills include math, science, English and even some intro level spanish.
