My name is Elena and I graduated from Valparaiso University in May 2024. I studied psychology and sociology. I have had a great passion for working with kids my whole life. I work at a school as a teachers aide. I work at a school that serves a population of kids with severe autism, behavioral issues, and medical issues. The class I work in is 5th and 6th graders, all of which are almost completely nonverbal. I love being able to work with these kids 1:1, be there to show them support, help them achieve their fullest potential, and help them during their behavioral crisis. In the near future I will be going to graduate school to become a social worker for this similar population of kids. I am a hardworking, loyal, and compassionate individual who has a lot of experience working with kids.
