About Elana

I am a patient, friendly, and formal caregiver with 8+ years of experience caring for children of all ages. My passion for fostering children's growth and development inspired me to become a caregiver. I am also a 4th grade language arts teacher, which has given me experience teaching children of all ages. When it comes to communication, I believe in keeping parents informed about their child's day. I provide written daily reports, verbal communication at pickup, and regular updates via text or phone call. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in my care. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including board games and puzzles, educational games, and technology-based games and apps. I am comfortable caring for one child at a time and have experience with children of all ages, from infants to preteens. I have a college degree and am certified in CPR and First Aid. I also have a car and am comfortable with pets.
