About Steicy

I've had the opportunity to work with children of all ages, from toddlers to preteens, and I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time. I have a college degree, am CPR and First Aid certified, and am fluent in both English and Portuguese. As a caregiver, I'm patient, calm, and friendly, and I'm able to communicate well with parents about their child's day. I believe in following the parents' preferred communication method and providing regular updates via text or phone call. While I'm comfortable enforcing household rules, I prefer to focus on positive reinforcement and redirection. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including board games, puzzles, educational games, and technology-based games and apps. I'm also comfortable with pets and am a non-smoker.
