About Elaine

My name is Elaine, I was employed at a small Montessori daycare center from March 2010 until June of 2018. I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment for children in my care. I learned how difficult it can be to manage the varying needs of children in diverse stages of development. I honed the ability to care for each child individually, while paying close attention to the needs of each child. I was dubbed the "Grandma", kissing skinned knees, rocking an infant to sleep or running an art class! Children are a joy and I find nothing is more rewarding than nurturing their growth. I believe in creating a positive, happy environment for children, one in which they feel protected and can thrive. I have good organizational and communication skills. The past four years I have been working in the Toddler and Primary grades at a Montessori school in Woodbridge. I am in search of summer employment partnering alongside a loving family.
