Alexus joined our family when our twins were just 7 months old and cared for them right up until right after they turned 4. I chose that word ‘joined’ because that's what happened- she became a part of our family. She was great with our girls when they were small, helping out with everything imaginable. As our girls grew, I was astounded with how wonderful of a teacher she was. Before I knew it, my kids knew their numbers and letters! More importantly, she taught them to be good human beings. In everything she does, there is kindness, compassion, patience and love. I truly wish she could stay with us, but I know she’ll be a part of our lives for years to come.
