About Eila

I have been caring and teaching for 8 years and work with children from a wide variety of backgrounds and needs! I am currently a second grade special education teacher. I specialize in reading and phonics instruction for students with diverse needs, including dyslexia and autism. I received my elementary teaching degree from the University of Michigan and my masters in education from National Louis University. I have experience with children as young as infants and as old as teenagers. I am also a Japanese speaker!

Eila is a delightful caregiver and worked very well with my young adult autistic daughter. Eila knew how to break down a project with my daughter in a way that was understandable, was thorough about checking in with my daughter during "alone time". I highly recommend Eila.
