I am a 4th grade teacher now on summer break, so I have a very flexible schedule. I have experience teaching 4th and 5th grade general education, as well as special education. I am a 2014 graduate of Purdue University West Lafayette, where I earned a dual major in elementary education and special education. I was recognized and honored as the 2015 Irving Elementary School Outstanding Educator by the Hammond Education Foundation. Working with children is my passion. I pride myself in being a positive role model and influence in the lives of the children that I work. I believe in growing hope, spreading love, and bringing out the confident leader in each child.

Kristen has babysat for us several times and we would not hesitate to ask her to come back! She was great with our two boys, got them engaged, played, and they were excited to see her when she came back. She had great availability and was extremely reliable. Definitely recommend!
