Hello! I am a passionate, creative, and caring educator with over 10 years of experience working with children. I am currently working as a kindergarten teacher and am looking for work over the summer months. Over the years I have worked with children in several different capacities such as: nanny, babysitter, camp counselor, preschool intern, tutor, swim lesson instructor, 1:1 aide, and substitute teacher, and currently kindergarten teacher. Each of these opportunities has given me valuable insight and experience, that have taught me how to facilitate learning for children from and with the world around them. I understand the importance of consistency and security when working with children, and therefore I will be able to provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment, in which they can observe, create, and grow. It is our pleasure to recommend Eden as an educational instructor. She displays extraordinary talent and dedication. We hired Eden to help our 7-year-old twins boys with reading and writing skills. It was a struggle trying to get them to do their work all on my own. She has a college degree and a strong desire to teach children and it really shows in her instructional work with the boys. She has so many different visual and textural aids that she incorporates in her daily lessons. these keep the boys engaged and really interested in what they're learning and even for homework assignments. I was impressed how she was able to determine what level each of the boys were at and teach to them based on their individual strength and weaknesses. Eden has had my family and her family's safety in mind from day one and has worn a mask and helped encourage the boys to wear theirs with zero complaint for each of their hour instruction.
