About Dulany

Hi my name is Dulany! I am studying art at Hamilton College in upstate New York but I am in the city for the summer. I would describe myself as bubbly, creative, and thoughtful. I like working with kids because I enjoy contributing to the wonder and magic of childhood. I find working with children helps ground me in the present and reminds me of the simple beauty and joy of life. I started working with kids as a young teenager. Additionally, I spent 4 summers as a counselor at school and neighborhood camps. I also served as a tutor both in high-school and college. For this summer, I am looking for a full time position that allows for some flexibility particularly on weekends. Ideally, 30 hours of commitment. I would prefer to work with no more than 2 children and children that are older than 3 years old. I value family and community and believe 'it takes a village.' I hope to build strong relationships with both the children under my care and their faintly.
