Hi, my name is Phil! I work as a Psychosocial Assistant for the Quad Preparatory School in Lower Manhattan. School is out for the summer, and so I am looking to pick up some work. I would love to meet you and your family! When I was 14, I began babysitting my two cousins, 3 and 4 at the time. I continued this through high school and college, also babysitting for my mother's friends and coworkers. As my older cousins are getting married and having kids, I picked up shifts with their young children also! I enjoy gently leading kids to their own discoveries while being attentive and getting down to explain things on their level when they need me. I'm a big fan of both the arts and science/math and I love making these topics exciting for kids, especially in helping with homework. And playing in the park is great when the weather is nice!
