Experienced tutor and secondary teacher specializing in HS science. Beyond my college education in bio/chem/physics I also have direct knowledge of the RCSD science curriculum. Students learn best when engaged and curious, so I work to re-engage their curiosity! For those who struggle or have had negative experiences with the subject, or have ADHD etc. re-engaging interest is especially important, so please let me know of any circumstances that might impact learning styles/interests. As a secondary teacher I am also passionate about building students' life long learning skills, and as such will help them develop individualized study and test-taking strategies, organizational skills, etc. Tests are often a source of anxiety and stress even for students who understand the material, but it is a skill that can be developed and mastered!
