About Mary

I love to share my interest and passion for ecology, environmental science, art and animals with children! I am offering small group or individual family lessons in topics like: Natural History of Montana and the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, Mapmaking and Nature Journaling, Species Accounts: Grizzly Bears and White Bark Pine I have my degree in Wildlife Biology and Environmental Science and have studied place based education for over 7 years! I currently serve as an Americorps fellow for the Teton Science School developing environmental education curriculum for K-12 students in the Greater Yellowstone Ecoysystem. I work part time, remotely and really miss the interaction and experience of teaching and learning with others. I'm offering lessons in environmental science and place based learning for children (K-8) in the Bozeman area to compliment the transition to remote learning curriculum. This could be a one time thing or reoccurring depending on what works for you!
