About Doris

I was a caregiver for 10 years, working in people's homes. I took leave after having a child. I am patient, understanding and compassionate. I enjoy caring for seniors. They play a vital role in our society. Being a caregiver has made me realize how much we need elderly people. Caregiving will create better people. I want to be the best version of myself through my line of work. I became an in-home caregiver, working for three separate agencies and also an independent caregiver for over 10 years. In my spare time, I love to knit, hike and spend time with my family. I love to learn from elderly people. They have so much to impart to us. I have great admiration for them. I have 10 years of caregiving experience, understanding non-verbal cues, bedside care, transfers with clients in wheelchairs, showering and Care Plans.
