I'd describe my personality as patient, understanding, and kind. I like tutoring because it is highly rewarding to see when a student is able to completely grasp mathematics and goes from dreading it to enjoying it. I teach not only how to complete a problem, but why it is done that way. This way the student can build upon the foundations and quickly pick up subsequent course subjects. I started tutoring when I decided to homeschool my own children 8 years ago. I have since enrolled at UCF to earn a degree in mathematics to become a high school math teacher. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, play piano, paint, and do wildlife photography.
