About Desirea

I am a Nanny with over 6 Years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and young children. I have experience working in home, as well as in daycare/preschool environments. I am experienced in caring for multiple children simultaneously and have worked with various children's personalities. Every child is unique and has their own way of interacting and learning, I focus on that and build activities around them. I have spent an extended amount of time researching child development, milestones, and emotional development, and I continue to learn in my free time. I thoroughly enjoy doing arts and crafts, going outside to explore nature, and curating activities based on a child's needs and interests. I believe children should learn through play and participate in engaging activities. I emphasize emotional regulation and communication when I work with kids by incorporating sign language, narrating activities, and helping the children identify what emotions they may be experiencing.
