About Shelbie

Hi! My name is Shelbie and caring for children is truly my passion. I have been working with kids for over 10 years, gaining experience with all ages in a variety of settings. My journey started at 15 when I helped at my aunt's in-home daycare, and since then, I've worked at another daycare for two years, as well as a summer camp. I am currently in school studying Speech Pathology and have taken multiple child development courses, deepening my understanding of how children grow and learn. I love creating fun, engaging activities that help kids reach important milestones while making learning enjoyable. I'm also CPR-certified, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment at all times. Beyond my experience, I simply love being around children-teaching them new skills, doing crafts, playing outside, and seeing the world through their eyes. Their joy, curiosity, and energy inspire me, and I feel so grateful to be a part of their growth.
